What is the XXX MAIN TOURING CAR CHASSIS SETUP GUIDE and why is it important to you.??

This book is very well written and even seasoned racers can benifit from it.. It goes into great details about how adjusting certain tuning abilities of your car can effect the handling and why..

Do you find that your car is loose on-power coming out of a corner??..Not sure what to do about it?? After reading this book you will be repeatedly instructed on weight transfer and how changing the characteristics of your cars set-up effects weight transfer..You will learn that your cars handling is all about weight transfer.

I understood that softening/hardening the suspension in one end of the car directly effects the traction of that end of the car..Softer meant more traction and harder meant less traction.. What I didn't quite understand was why...After you read this book from beginning to end you will know exactly why and knowing why goes a long way to understanding what changes to make and when..

This book is a fairly recent publication and I've now added a copy to my pit box for quick reference..The one thing I noticed at my last race was that there is a new "catch phrase" floating around..You wouldn't believe how many times I heard "weight transfer" being mentioned in the pits.. And that is directly linked to this book..Everybody is getting a whole new sense of what their cars are all about and it shows at the track..

It comes with a handy little quick reference guide on the last page..No need to read through its 62 pages for that quick answer you need..But be sure to read each and every word when you first get it..Understanding the concepts of weight transfer is everything and it is mentioned repeatedly throughout the book..If you remember one thing it will be the phrase "weight transfer" and what it means..

Nobody says it better than Martin Crisp himself:

If you answered yes to any of these question then this guide is for you(Martin Crisp)

Who the heck is Martin Crisp??

Martin Crisp is the webmaster of MPowered Racing and creator of the original version of this set-up guide..The MPowered Racing Set-Up Guide..He has been a racer for a number of years and is very successful wherever he goes.. Known Canadian wide for his accomplishments in both Nitro and Electric Touring car racing and his skills to consistantly put him at the front of the field. He also has travelled to Japan as a member of Team Canada for the Tamiya Championship Series as well as many other successful R/Cing adventures..So he has the know-how to put his car on the front row and he's willing to share this knowledge with you..

Final Thought??

I don't hesitate to recommend this book to everyone..I borrowed my fellow R/C Ontario Racing Teammate's copy for my first read and immediately went looking for XXX Main for my own copy..My only regret after reading this book is that most of my fellow racers are getting the same info I am..There goes my edge..Get the book and you will see a difference at the track..

How Much??
